Just as quickly as rumors surface, they are just as quickly shot to smithereens.
Two days ago, talk was electric on the internets. The word being that Tobey Maguire had the inside track to star in “The Hobbit”, as the lead furry-footed halfling, Bilbo Baggins.
But then, just one day later, Mr. Webhead himself issued a flat denial.

Now, while he says he hasn’t talked to director Guillermo del Toro about the project, he didn’t say he wouldn’t.
