The National Kids’ Day survey questioned 1,600 British students under 10, asking them “who is the most famous person in the world?”

#1?  Simon Cowell

Is this understandable, or just downright disturbing?

Can’t decide….well think on this then.

#3 in the survey was the Queen of England.  A fair assessment, as far as I can tell.  The Brits still picture Her Majesty on all their money.

#2 most famous ‘person’?  God….no, that’s the answer.  GOD.

Ok, so….thoughts?  My initial reaction was to think, “pfft.  What do kids know?”

But, they’re probably right.  On this planet, celebrity is worshipped far greater than religion.  And in England, where spirituality among those under 40 is virtually non-existent, is it so surprising that Simon gets the top prize?
